Why Your Legs Cramp Up at Night and How to Fix It

Epsom salt bath
Epsom Salts contain magnesium which can provide healing and muscle relaxation. Add 2 cups of Epsom salts to your bath and soak in it for 20 minutes. You can repeat this procedure every day if you feel that there is a need for that.
Note: People who suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, or heart diseases are advised not to use Epsom salts.
Mustard also has magnesium in its content, and as we said before magnesium is extremely effective for relieving leg cramps. Usually, athletes use 1 or 2 spoons of mustard in order to stop cramps. Mustard has acetic acids that promote the production of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter which encourages the work of muscles

- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon cloves
- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- 1 tablespoon anise seeds
Mix all the ingredients and add them to boiling water. Let it simmer until the water reduces to a half of its amount. Consume this drink while it is still warm, before going to bed.
It is considered that dehydration, intense thirst, heat exhaustion, and heavy perspiration are the main reasons for this problem. So always remember that the best thing to do in order to prevent muscle cramps is to stay hydrated.
