You can prepare this natural remedy by yourself and if you do not have all the necessary ingredients, they can be purchased at your nearest store for “Healthy Food” or you can try to find them at a nearby market.
Try to boost your immunity with this syrup, as well as freshly squeezed fruit juices, freshly prepared vegetables, and to include ginger, honey and cinnamon in your diet. Fish oil has also proved to be a great ally in the fight against the seasonal virus. So, for this amazing cough syrup, you should supply the following ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 300 ml water
- 6 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon of marshmallow
- 1 tablespoon chamomile
Method of preparation:
Dissolve the honey at a low temperature to become brown. Add water and stir until honey is completely melted. Add the remaining ingredients and leave them to boil for three minutes. Remove from oven and when it cools, put the mixture in a glass jar, and keep it in the refrigerator.
Older children and adults can consume one tablespoon of this syrup several times a day, and small children one teaspoon of it.
