Many of the products are really expensive and may not be corresponding for your skin, even can be harmful because all of us have different skin type. Instead of wasting your time and money on products which may not be effective and are full of chemicals and toxic substances, we recommend you to try this homemade remedy. Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate has a wide range of usage as in baking, cooking, cleaning, and cosmetics. It is very effective for treating acne because it corrects the pH balance of the skin, and helps in healing breakouts caused by the pH imbalance.

Coconut oil nourishes and soothes the skin because of the antibacterial, moisturizing, and healing properties it has. Any kind of coconut oil can be used, but we recommend you to use the wet-milled traditional virgin coconut oil because of its great amount of antioxidants.

  • 1 tablespoon of aluminum-free baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons of organic extra virgin coconut oil

Mix all the ingredients until you get a paste then apply the paste on your skin by making circular movements and let it stand for 5 minutes. Wash your face with warm water and again by making circular movements massage your skin. Dry your face with a clean towel.

Coconut oil will make your skin hydrated, so there is no need for using a moisturizer. Do this treatment only two times in a week.
