“Kavala” or “gundusha” also known as oil pulling is an ancient Ayurvedic dental technique. It involves swishing a tablespoon of oil in the mouth for 20 minutes and on an empty stomach.
This will draw out the toxins from the body, thus improving the oral and the overall health.
This oil pulling includes natural substances which can clean and detoxify the teeth and gums. Also, it can help in whitening the teeth naturally and improving the health of gums by removing the harmful bacteria.
With only one ingredient you can say goodbye to the bad breath, plaque, tartar and you can kill the harmful bacteria in your mouth!
HOW TO PERFORM OIL PULLING?
It is really simple. Swish a couple of teaspoons of vegetable based oil, including olive oil, sesame, or coconut in the mouth for 20 minutes.
Spit it out and rinse well.
It is best to do this method in the morning, on an empty stomach, before drinking or eating.
Also, you can do it before each meal in case you have more dangerous dental problems or infections.
- Put 1-2 teaspoons of the oil you will choose in the mouth.
- Swish for 20 minutes. This period of 20 minutes is enough to break through bacteria and plaque.
- When spitting out the oil will be thicker and milky.
- Do not swallow the oil because it is full of toxins, bacteria, and pus.
- Rinse your mouth well with warm water.
At the beginning, it may be difficult for you to keep a tablespoon of oil in your mouth, but after the first few minutes, you will get used to it.
After the oil pulling, your mouth will be fresher and cleaner. Just after one week you will notice that your smile is brighter and whiter.
