How to Prepare Ginger Tea:
- 3 oz. fresh ginger root
- Apple or lemon
- Honey or maple syrup
- 3 cups of water
First, you should wash the ginger root properly then peel and cut it into small pieces. Bring the water to boil and when it reaches its boiling point, you should add the ginger. Lower the heat and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Then, remove from heat and leave it for 5 minutes more. Transfer the mixture in a teapot and put the leftover ginger in a tea ball. Let it steep for 15 minutes then remove the tea ball, and make sure to strain. And, that is it! Your tea is ready!
Besides drinking ginger tea and taking ginger extract, you can also add a few tablespoons of grated ginger to your salad or into a stir fry.
