There are two alternatives to do this recipe. Both of them are considered as effective, with one difference between them-one of them has a better taste. It is proved that turmeric can be synthesized more efficiently if bound to coconut oil or honey.

If you want a more bitter taste, try the coconut oil recipe, but in the case you don’t prefer that, try the honey variation.


  • 1/3 cup organic turmeric powder
  • A pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon quercetin powder

For the binding agent you can choose one of these:

  • Coconut oil
  • Raw honey
  • Organic ghee from grass-fed cows

Make sure to use organic ingredients in order to get the best results. Also, do not forget to mention that you will need unbleached parchment paper which you can find at the grocery store or baking goods stores.


Line a cooking tray with the unbleached parchment paper.

You can consume them as much as you want, but bear in mind that the oil binding agent can upset your stomach if you consume them in excessive amounts.
