The issue of oily skin is often accompanied with huge pores. Shrinking nasty pores has become quite a struggle, and only a few have enjoyed their victory over this unattractive problem.
The market offers millions of products that are supposed to tighten your skin and make pores less visible, but most of these are ineffective and super expensive as well. Switch to natural beauty products and solve your problem in the comfort of your own home.
Here are some nice suggestions:
Water and baking soda
Combine 2 tablespoons of each ingredient and stir until dissolved. Apply the resulting paste onto your face, and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water once your mask has dried.
Other combinations also work well, plus they use natural ingredients that you already have at home. Enjoy these recipes:
Cucumber, lemon and rosewater
Peel and try to mash one smaller cucumber. Add a few drops of lemon juice and about a teaspoon of rosewater. Transfer the mixture onto a clean cloth, fold it well, and apply it on the affected area. Rinse well with cool water.
Egg white and lemon juice
Use the power of lemon juice once again. Combine a few drops of lemon juice and 2 egg whites. Apply it onto the face, and leave the mask on until it dries. This should take about several minutes. Rinse it off with cool water. This tightening mask will shrink the pores on your face, plus it will remove dead skin cells and excess oil.
Tomato and lime juice
Combine some tomato juice and 2-4 drops of fresh lime juice. Soak a cotton ball into the liquid, and pat it across your face. Let the liquid do its job for 15 minutes, and rinse it off with cool water.
The acids in this mask will free you from the excess oil, and your skin will sure love their astringent effect. Use this treatment to tighten your skin and seal your pores.
Almond and lime juice
Soak a few almonds overnight, and mash them into a thick paste. Stir in a teaspoon of fresh lime juice, and apply it on the affected area. Rinse off after 30 minutes.
Lemon and pineapple juice
Juice half a lemon and combine it with half a cup of pineapple juice. Soak a clean cloth in the resulting juice, and apply it on your face. Rinse with cool water after 5 minutes.
Enzymes in pineapple cleanse and tighten skin. They go well with the astringent properties of lemon juice.
