If your doctor tells you to get a colonoscopy, JUST SAY THIS
Nowadays, many doctors tend to use colonoscopy, a test which allows them to look at the inner lining of the rectum and colon. Besides checking for precancerous growths or cancer in the large intestine, they can help to find areas of inflammation and ulcers as well. Over 14 million people a year undergo this procedure in order to detect colon cancer. But, here comes the question: Is it really that effective?
The truth is that it is a painful and dangerous procedure and even potentially fatal!
The Annals of Internal Medicine reported that about 70,000 or 0.5% will get injured or even killed due to some complication associated with colonoscopy. As unbelievable as it sounds, this means that this figure is higher than the annual deaths from colon cancer itself.
The Telemark Polyp Study I proved that colonoscopy increases mortality by up to 57%. For every person saved by the procedure, 56 suffer experience an injury. It is proven that you can get infected by Pseudomonas and Aeruginosa, Hepatitis B and C, Helicobacter pylori, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, HIV, Salmonella, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), E. Coli O157:H7, and Flu Viruses.
Colonoscopy does not prevent cancer!
The New York Times published a study in 2006 showed that patients who had at least one adenoma detected on colonoscopy but they didn’t have cancer. They developed cancer in the following couple of years, at the same rate as would be expected in the general population without screening.
Another study which was published in the same year proved that patients in all of the studies developed colon cancer at the same rate as would be expected in the general population without screening in the following few years, although all found polyps had been eliminated.
Colonoscopy is a scam
Colonoscopy is nothing but a scam to enrich doctors and Big Pharma. It is an invasive and life-threatening procedure. The radiation levels emitted from one colonoscopy are similar to the atomic bomb exposure in Hiroshima!
Note: To protect yourself, you should consult your doctor about safer screening test including stool tests, computed tomographic colonography and sigmoidoscopy.
