Fresh bittergourd can help you as well. Cut it into chunks, and add it to your boiling water. Use the seeds as well, because they are also packed with essential nutrients.
You need 6-8 tablespoons of dried bittergourd or bittergourd leaves.
Boil your water in a stainless steel pot. For this amount you need about 16 oz of pure water. Add in the bittergourd chunks or crushed bittergourd leaves. If you decide to go for fresh produce, use two cups of bittergourd chunks for this amount of water. Adjust the ingredients if you need to prepare more of this tea.
Simmer your tea on low heat for 10 minutes. Remember, you should keep the lid on.
Take the pot off the heat, and let the tea steep for additional 10 minutes.
Strain, and transfer your tea to a vacuum flask.
