Taiwanese scientists have conducted research in order to discover the exact effect of tomato juice on the human organism.
During the study, women of different ages, weight and origin drank a glass of tomato juice on a daily basis during two months.
They have not changed their food habits and already after a few days they experienced a loss of weight.
Experts say that it is not a common loss of fluids from the body, but it is melting fat in fact. The participants in this experiment had lost 1.6 to 2 cm in waist in average, had low cholesterol levels and elevated lycopene levels in blood, an antioxidant that positively affect health.
