Whitening and exfoliation with lemon
Exfoliation is a key element in the care of rough skin of the elbows, because it removes the layer of dead cells which besides being unpleasant on touch, can also contribute to the appearance of dark spots.
- Cut a lemon and strain the juice of one half. In the juice add a large spoonful of sugar and half a teaspoon of olive oil, so that the mixture becomes similar to wet sand. Take some of it and massage the elbows in circular movements for 2-3 minutes. Wash the skin with warm water.
- Rub the elbows with the other half of the lemon. If there are pieces of pulp on the skin, remove them, but do not wash it. Let the skin to dry and wash it only after 3-4 hours. The lemon is a natural “bleach”.
Softening the skin with Vaseline
Dry skin of the elbows will become past if you regularly use Vaseline. Shortly after shower, apply a thicker layer of Vaseline on your forearms and hands, and put some socks, from which you have previously cut off the portion of the fingers. Put the socks so that the “heel” is placed on the elbows. Leave the Vaseline to nurture your skin during the night.
If you do not want to sleep with Vaseline and socks on your hands, you can apply Vaseline and wrap your elbows with plastic foil. After an hour, remove the foil and wipe excess Vaseline with a towel, but do not rinse.
