Colon cleansing has been performed since the time of ancient Greeks, but Americans got to know this method in the 1920s and 1930s. It is considered as a ‘must’ after the theory of autointoxication first appeared.
Due to indigested food remains, mucus buildups tend to ‘suffocate’ the colon, and thus poison the body. Toxic overload causes fatigue, headache, weight gain, and lack of energy.
