Have you ever prepared anything similar? If not, it is time to get busy in the kitchen and prepare the tastiest healing soup.
Garlic is more powerful than common antibiotics, as shown by a study conducted at the University of Washington.
- 50 garlic cloves, peeled and cleaned
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 large onions, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 bunch herbs (use parsley, thyme, and bay leaves)
- 3 cups stale bread, cubed
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream
Preheat your oven at 180 degrees. Take a third of your garlic cloves and wrap it in a tin foil along with some olive oil. Roast it for an hour and a half, and let it cool completely. Let the butter melt in a large pot, and add the olive oil in. Cook your minced onions for 10 minutes.
Add the roasted garlic to the pot, add in some fresh thyme, chicken broth and all the herbs.
Turn the heat on low, add in the bread, and let the soup simmer for 5 minutes, or until the bread cubes have softened.
Take the herbs out, and pour the soup in your kitchen blender. Blend until it becomes creamy. Pour it back in the pot, and stir in the sour cream. Season to taste.
Enjoy your super spowerful soup!
